Avista - Community Safety Awareness Day/Open House

Avista is hosting a Community Safety Awareness day/Open House 10:00 - noon on April 10, 2015 and April 17, 2015 at the Avista Materials yard - 120 N Hill Street, Kellogg, Idaho.
The event will include a  Live Line Safety Trailer, Power Line Safety, and the Do’s and Don’ts Around Power Lines.  
There will also be a Natural Gas vs. Gasoline Demo showing the characteristics of both, as well as differences.
Crews will be available to answer questions.

West Silver Valley Air Quality Citizens Advisory meeting - March 19, 2015

The next meeting of the West Silver Valley Air Quality Citizens Advisory Committee is scheduled forMarch 19, 2015 at the Panhandle Health District office, 114 W. Riverside Ave., in Kellogg from 6:00 -7:00 p.m.

Inbound Lumber Buying Mission/Small Log Conference information - March 24-26, 2015

The Idaho Department of Commerce will be hosting an inbound lumber buying mission from Japan on March 23-26, 2015, in conjunction with the Small Log Conference in Coeur d’Alene, March 24-26, 2015.  The five participating Japanese buyers will focus on acquiring Douglas Fir dimensional lumber.
